Privacy Policy

Kaydi is a personal cloud storage app. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

Account. We use Clerk for sign-in. We store your account identifiers needed to provide the service (such as your user id and email associated with your account).

Files. Files you upload are stored on our cloud storage providers so you can access them from your devices. We do not sell your file contents.

Payments. Subscription payments are processed by mobile money providers (such as Zaad or E-Birr). We store the phone number and provider you used so we can initiate renewal charges at the end of your billing period. You may need to approve each charge on your phone. We do not store payment card numbers. Mid-cycle plan upgrades increase your storage immediately; you are charged the plan you hold at renewal (no mid-cycle charge or proration). Downgrades are not offered.

Device signals. We may use approximate region signals (such as timezone or IP country) only to show the correct local pricing and payment methods.

Retention & deletion. When a paid period ends, new uploads stop immediately. For 60 days you can still browse, download, and manage existing files. If you do not renew within those 60 days, your files are marked for permanent deletion and removed about 7 days later (67 days after the period ended).
